The National Waterways Museum brings the story of the waterways to life for schools and students of all ages. Our education programmes link with English, Maths, Science, Technology, the Arts and, of course History as well as help with teaching jobs.

To help you get the most from your visit, schools and teachers can use the services of the National Waterways Museum’s Education Department.

Our education staff can help you plan your visit, including assisting with your risk assessment, provide further information on the resources available and deliver an education session tailored to your needs.
