Gloucester Waterways Museum

The waterways story at the heart of Gloucester's Victorian docks

Step inside one of Gloucester's handsome Victorian warehouses and discover three floors of displays incorporating rich collections, films and audio presentations and some great hands-on activities too.

On the quayside you will find boats from the UK's Historic Boat Collection including colourful narrowboats and an iconic steam dredger.

The Museum is the starting point for the best boat trips on the River Severn and the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal.

At the heart of its community, Gloucester Waterways Museum has many volunteers helping out with its collections, school visits and bringing the quayside to life.
