Welcome to Stoke Bruerne

The Canal Museum is based in the canal village of Stoke Bruerne in the heart of rural Northamptonshire.

Displays, and the Museum shop and café are housed in an atmospheric restored cornmill.  Inside you'll find a treasure trove of stories, exhibits and collections that bring to life the rich world of Britain's canals.

And Stoke Bruerne village is the perfect setting.  It's alive with canal heritage and the Grand Union Canal on which it sits is a constantly moving picture of passing boats and wildlife.

Whether you're after a pit stop coffee or a memorable day out, Stoke Bruerne is a delightful place to visit and enjoy.
