Learning boat trips

Your group can travel along the Shropshire Union Canal aboard Centaur, a purpose built all-weather passenger boat. Two bespoke tours with live commentary are available.

Local History Boat Trip

Commentary on this trip highlights the boats which would have worked on this section of the canal, the industries on the banks and the people who would have worked on and around the canal.

WWII Boat Trip

Children will hear about the way that WWII affected the trade, transport and people of Ellesmere Port and the whole of the UK.
